Replaced by whom, another state chair whose jib is cut the exact same way.

No, by whomever you are postulating for the same position in your third party. If you don't have such a person, or the person is not a good one, or you cannot organize for, nominate and elect such a person...

Then you just can't do politics on that scale. You can't do it on a large scale in your third party either. IF you can, you can do it in the GOP, easier.

I agree it would be much easier to have a house party and all agree on each other for the key positions. But then what?

Nope, sorry. As much as you may wish to poo-poo the fact, it still remains that the GOP does have an institutionalised establishment, and this establishment does everything in its level best power to make sure that its grip on the party is not broken by conservatives. Half the battle is simply getting rid of the GOP-E so that a little fresh air can be had. This won't get done in the GOP. Sorry, but it won't. You can stick with the GOP fort a century, and you know what you're going to be doing? Sitting around every four years resigning yourself to voting for the dreck that GOP-E serves up, which it managed to do by a combination of its grip on the reins within the party and skulduggery - just like this year.

But hey, if you really need the exercise, have at it.
