It's amazing how, in cases like this, the heart of the adversarial system is cut out.
The PURPOSE of a jury of Zimmerman's peers IS TO BE FAIR TO ZIMMERMAN.
Trayvon has an advocate in the room, he's called the PROSECUTOR.
The SYSTEM is "unfair to Trayvon", because the BURDEN OF PROOF is on the State, NOT on Zimmerman.

If Zimmerman is tried before an all-white jury, it will like the fictitious trial in To Kill a Mockingbird, where the black defendant was tried before an all-white jury.

The prosecution gets to pick 6 and there's no way they will allow a jury with no blacks on it . Having said that ,,, this might only lead to a hung jury where other non-minority jurors may vote to acquit . I believe Zim’s best bet is simply with a Judge in lieu of a jury since the prosecutor has over charged him . I'd get Alan Dershewitz as my probono lawyer and he'd win for sure with a judge instead of a jury .

Twelve persons shall constitute a jury to try all capital cases, and 6 persons shall constitute a jury to try all other criminal cases.
Florida
Zimmerman isn't being charged with a capital crime. So it must be 6 jurors. Unless I've misunderstood.
