Chart shown is a statistical comparison of the crime rates per 100,000 people. Based on the final 2006 FBI Crime Statistics.

Those are big city figures where the ratio of blacks in CA vs blacks in TX is much more lopsided. Dallas is 25% black vs LA’s 10%. Statewide crime stats are about the same for CA and TX, as I pointed out in my links earlier in the thread.
