Mozilo's Countrywide had been the first to embrace the homeownership push back in 1995 and had therefore become
a central player in Clinton's public-private partnership.
And since 1998, Countrywide had also become crucial to the fortunes of Fannie Mae, and the personal wealth of Fannie employees who received special mortgage deals from the lender...

I reckon this means Perry is a squishy RINO endorser too?
This whole Romney thing reminds me of a joke from my youth....Heaven >> Lots of clouds with people having fun, laughing, joking and carrying on, having a joyous time. Someone looks over at a cloud where the people are silent and somber. “What’s the matter with those people?” he asks. “Oh, those are the Church of Christ people. They think they are the only ones here.”
I was a C of C person. I didn’t understand it then. I do now.

Outside Independence Hall when the Constitutional Convention of 1787 ended, Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin,
"Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, "A republic, if you can keep it."
Well that about says it all.

Perry paints a turd white and tries to sell it as bread. Rick is not gop/e but he is a party republican that thinks that he has a future in National office and has to go along to get along. Palin has to do much the same. I am no longer a republican and I do not have to sell my soul for any reason. Screw mitt and anyone that promotes him on this site.

Even Perry recognizes the difference between a lib republican and the evil, anti-american, marxist pig in the whitehouse. The country can survive Romney with unrelenting pressure from conservatives to do right. The country will not survive the demented, and literal, marxist bastard currently commanding power and dividing his opposition.
