Has nothing to do with Romney. If these were Romney’s connections pulling in the money, he would have had it during the primary. These are anti-Obama people who would give the money to whoever the nominee is. The fact that the RNC started joint fundraising with Romney this early is just more reason why every Republican should be pissed that they were disenfranchised by the party before we had elected a nominee. Since when do they not stay unbiased during a primary?

I think it is both Romney supporters and ABO types. I think some Romney supporters didn't donate or donate much during the primaries because they expected Mitt to win eventually and didn't want their money spent running negative ads against the other GOP candidates.

I saw a chart the other day that showed how poorly Romney is doing in fundraising, and what was most shocking about it was how FEW people were actually giving money to him.
