PHOENIX (Reuters) - A defiant killer who asked for no mercy, shunned a clemency hearing and railed against immigrants at his sentencing was put to death by lethal injection in Arizona on Wednesday for kidnapping and killing a Hispanic college student in 1992, officials said.
Thomas Kemp, 63, was pronounced dead at 10:08 a.m. local time at the state prison in Florence, about 60 miles southeast of Phoenix, a state official said. His last words were: "I regret nothing."

This very thread, even.
My kids would play pretty rough with our very gentle dog. However, I was always a bit on edge with it. And warned them if he ever bit one of them the dog would need to be put to sleep.
He never did. Although the time they put the pink Tutu on him I would have perhaps set aside the rule! ;)
I know that serial killers start out with animals
I am not changing my opinion
You "have a grip" but call his dad a "dangerous man" and a potential "serial killer"?
And you think this defends your opinion?
In my opinion, you're a dangerous man. Because you demonstrate zero reference to the conditions of the situation under discussion, and go for maximum insult and inflammatory accusations. Clearly you're looking for a fight, and willing to debase yourself to get one. People like you, who throw respect and consideration in the dirt in order to fling garbage, are the very definition of dangerous people, because you're irrational, aggressive and defiant. But I will say one thing for you - I don't think you'd ever be a serial killer. Your style would be more to incite someone to be a serial killer, while you stayed in the shadows, directing.
FYI, his dad was right. Once that dog bit, he had to be killed. Your rage over that comes from your personal denial of adulthood, and your reliance on childish accusations of abuse against men for being men, rather than the metrosexual crap that fits your - what do you call it? - "comfort zone." You're a worm and you don't even know it.
Putting him to sleep yes, slamming him in the head with a weapon immediately, no.
But at this point I am the “dangerous” one even though I have simply defended the defenseless.
Oh, byw, I am a mom.
“personal denial of adulthood” lol
Are you some kind of “shrink” or “life coach” or “counselor”? sheesh the silliness
I can remember wnem, if a dog bit someone the dog was killed. If a dog killed chickens or sucked eggs, the dog was killed. But that was when we were uncivilized. When we became civilized, we kill unborn children and allow mad dogs and biting dogs along with dogs that kill livestock to be pampered and live in luxury.
It’s the violent nature his dad whacked the poor dog with that I object to. Surely the dog didn’t bite his dad out of the blue. There are a lot of unanswered questions:
Was the dog owned by the dog’s life ender
Was the dog a stray
Did the dog (which was lying down in some vehicle) get up before he bit the person’s dad
Was the dog already injured and perhaps that is why the dog bit
Is it customary to whack a dog in the head to kill it in this person’s neck of the woods? Especially a lying down perhaps already injured dog
What was the dog doing in the vehicle? How did he get there? Did the dog’s life ender put him there? Why?
And so on
I would have done what tet68's dad did.
Have you ever run out in the street to rescue a dog that has been hit by a car?
They are very scared, hurt and snappy.
The unanswered questions...........he said the dog was lying down in a jeep and “wouldn’t move” Well, guess what, an injured dog may not be able to move. How did he know the dog wouldn’t move, did he shout “move!” at it , kick it, had he put the dog there to drive it out to the middle of nowhere to dump it?
Get me some answers and then spout off. Oh and really? You would bash the dog in the head too? Really? wow. Wouldn’t want to get too close to you, bud
I got a feeling that the feeling is at least mutual.
