National Socialism (common short form Nazism, German: Nationalsozialismus) was the ideology and practice of the Nazi Party - for those who were never taught what NAZI means. You'd be surprised to find out how many people don't know the NAZIs were Socialist like the Democrat party today.

Unfortunately, it'll fall back to the "Well, they weren't REAL socialists, they were really just fascists" plea. Rather like the "Well, the ideas behind the Bolshevik revolution were sound, they just weren't implemented correctly" manure.
