Now that everyone is aware what the "Romney effect' is it seems to me quite logical for Romney to drop out of the race and quit screwing everybody up. That's the only solution. Yep. Romney needs to man up and drop out for the good of the nation before he gets pummeled by Obama.

You folks are delusional to think that the Republicans turnout would be low in November. Fortunately for the country the Any But Obama voters are 95% of the Republicans and Conservatives and would greatly and they go in massive numbers to vote Obama out.
The reason turnout is low in the latest primaries and will continue to be so is that Romney has been practically the nominee since Santorum dropped out and people are not going to waste their time in a race that is over in favor of Romney.
