I don't think this release will harm Zimmerman's case. The past charges against him are very small potatoes. Or to go further with a food metaphor, nothingburgers.

If anything, this will help deflate the race-baiters' wild claims of Zimmerman's "violent" past. An open-handed smack on his girlfriends' mouth ... after she smacked his mouth? Yeah, that's real, OJ-style domestic violence. /s

I notice in one report his height is given as 5’7”.
That’s an inch shorter than what I had understood.

There are folks claiming GZ attempted to physically detain TM until the police arrived and thereby initiated the confrontation.

To believe he would do that, given the possible 5”-8” difference in height, strains the imagination.
