Thank you for a factual and Founders-based concept for the necessity of "virtue" in those we elect to make our laws, execute our laws and appoint the "interpreters" of our Constitution. The kind of virtue known by the Founders to be essential to liberty was the kind which would motivate a man or woman to respect and abide by the strict limits on his/her power laid out in the Constitution.
