I’ve listened to a lot of amateur speech makers over the years, some very painful ones. I’ve learned to pick out the “gems” from the clutter. There is something good to glean from each one.
All of Rush’s guest hosts has their own unique perspectives. They deserve some respect for just being asked to host Rush’s show.

Gems from the clutter is a good way to put it, though. Especially compared to my usual "Flyspecks outta the pepper."
