I have been on the floor of the NYSE Exchange only a couple of times.
I was an investment banker...we and the traders were the heart of WS. The exchanges were the bowels.
That said, WS is a soul devouring place if one is not careful. It took me years to recover myself after leaving.
Of course, I still love it!;-)
I was a member of the NYBOT, and we would flush investment bankers down the toilet.
