Not defending McCain by any stretch; but if there was sufficient evidence to investigate and prosecute these allegations, then who the hell was the Chief Executive at the time that was charge of executing the laws of this nation?

I gave up on McCain when he kept scolding people for using barrys middle name (which he used 1-20) and for apologizing for rev wright attacks. I felt he didnt want to win
Remember, McCain WOULD NOT criticize Obama for ANYTHING because they dropped the race card every time they did. It really freaked them out. The McCain campaign was really stumped every time they called him racist. Obama really rode the race card all the way to the White House. Those days are over. The race card has been so abused at this point that it has become meaningless. Without it, Obama is Screwed. McCain should have had the courage to muscle through that. He didn’t. Thinking back on it, he almost seemed to be playing the part of a candidate but never really fought for it. Pelosi was right, it didn’t matter WHO won the election, they were essentially the same. I worry that she will be right again.
