I remember that horrid sham. They outright stole it, "recounting" a half a dozen times, and mysteriously finding "new votes", until the felony fraud was successful.
I also remember the media's coverage of it. They were not for one second reporting, or concerned, about the fraud. They were breathlessly reporting on how this was the Magical 60th Vote in the Senate that would allow Obama to remake America.
Kinda like the Fast & Furious scandal? I see a pattern here.

Good points all. But do you also remember that “Republican” Governor Tim Pawlenty sat there in — as far as I can tell — a passive, limp-wristed manner allowing all this to go on for weeks and months without raising any kind of alarm from his potential “bully pulpit?” Shortly after the election, Pawlenty issued some sort of statement saying to the effect that he believed the vote-counting dispute would be resolved fairly. What a wimp. So glad he dropped out of the campaign early on.
