I hope you are right. But the truth is, we’re getting Romney and that doesn’t bode well for Republican success at the POTUS level. I said the day after Obama won in 08 that Romney would be “next.” I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news as I said, but the fix is in.

The government is a leviathan that will only grow larger, even under the repubs. Government growing larger means the significance and influence of the individual is diminshed.

Romney or obama will continue to grow government, place less emphasis on the individual (socialism) and destroy our God given rights. Be prepared to live inder U.N. and international law, or else. Sorry to be so pessimistic, but even if the pubbies take the senate and hold congress, they will blow it again. Sigh...

Well, as far as Romney being the nominee...we still don't know that for an absolute certainty yet. Newt hasn't dropped out, and some are speculating why SarahPac has reserved some space at the convention.

I would agree that the government has continued to grow larger, but thank God their are serious conservatives offering serious plans to CUT spending and pay down the debt. Paul Ryan comes to mind. To accomplish this, we're going to have to vote out establishment types like McConnell, Boehner, and Hatch. Speaking of which, things aren't looking too good for our Senator Hatch. He thought he's was just going to skate into his next term. Well, it looks like he has a serious primary challenger in Dan Liljenquist (Strong Constitutionalist). Not sure who's going to win this, but this was very encouraging to folks like me who want to see RINOS, and old “Go along to get along” Republicans sent out to pasture.

So, I guess it's safe to say that you won't be voting in the presidential race if Romney is the GOP nominee? I, along with the likes of Rush, Levin, Palin and others will vote for whichever GOP candidate wins the primary. While I'm pi$$ed to have to potentially vote for Romney, at least he doesn't hate the country, capitalism, or our allies.

If I held the same belief as you, that our nation is doomed no matter what, I would not be able to get out of bed in the morning.

But hey, if this outlook floats your boat, who am I to try and convince you otherwise?

Yeah, maybe the pubs and conjure up another “power sharing” agreement. How sickening was that?

I prefer my way or the highway when we take charge - do to them worse than what they did to us.
