Orrin Hatch nearly avoided a primary. Given that he got nearly 60% of the delegates, he’s the favorite to win right now. But remember, Richard Lugar of Indiana was the favorite to win early on and now it could go either way.
Utah conservatives need to mobilize. Hatch did good things in the past, but he’s become part of the problem and it’s time for someone else. Dan Liljenquist seems like he’d be a good Senator.
As I said before, Senators Hatch and Cornyn have a good fiscal plan, and Hatchs experience would give it a better chance to be passed rather than a newbee.
Maybe that’s one of the reasons Mark Levin supports Hatch, as Hatch gets things accomplished, and Levin is pragmatic.
