Utter stupidity. Have every DNS request go to an instruction page to fix the problem. Problem solved. As for having a private party collect nearly a hundred thousand dollars? What, no one could pick up the phone and call OpenDNS or Google DNS?
Headline should be: Connected insider bilks taxpayer for nearly a hundred grand.
