“Toilet monitors” reminds me of a great gag someone played at a place I worked years ago.
A couple of guys made up a very official looking memo, detailing the company’s new policy about restrooms rules and regulations. It was hysterical. I don’t remember many details, except that towards the end was information about how if the new automatic timers clocked you being in a stall for too long a camera would trigger, taking a picture of the person in violation.
The funniest thing was that nearly everyone believed it. I was fooled for the first couple of sentences, then I realized that what followed was against the law, then the further you read the more outrageous it got.
Those guys did a beautiful job on that thing. I couldn’t convince my co-workers that it was a gag, and one of them went storming in to the manager to complain about pictures being taken while she’s on the john. His response to the memo was priceless.
In my city, they charge you for the amount of rainwater that goes into the sewers.

Our company has a new wellness plan, they take your biometrics (blood tests) and you have to fill out an online health assessment or pay 20% more for your health insurance. You also have to agree to participate in the programs that they deem necessary. (i.e. weight loss, smoking cessation, etc).
Obviously the information you give them is on a database forever.
