I wish I had seen this earlier. Glad the record has already been corrected. There’s nothing Mike McMonagle would like more than a brokered convention where Romney was ousted. Mike McM will likely vote Santorum at the convention.

Cool, I will be voting in his district later today and he’s got my vote as does Boyd. I guess I’ll pick Barrilli for the third choice even though I don’t know who he supports.

The woman who sent out the note to Newt’s Pennsylvania mailing list saying those were Romney delegates did not read the Independence Hall Tea Party endorsement carefully. They said all their delegates were Romney delegates EXCEPT for Schroder and McMonagle.

Delegates to the Republican National Convention (all but two are known supporters of Mitt Romney):

Since we endorsed Governor Romney for President, it is only logical that we would endorse, for the most part, delegates who also backed the Governor.

There were two exceptions. In the 6th and 13th Congressional Districts, respectively, we have endorsed two longstanding friends of the Independence Hall Tea Party, Rep. Curt Schroder (winner of the Association’s 2011 State Legislator of the Year Award) and Mike McMonagle.

(On the eve of the Iowa Caucus, January 2, 2012, the PAC became the first Tea Party in the nation to endorse Governor Romney for President.)
