I was putting off buying a new car but it looks like 2013 will be the year. It will then have to last the rest of my driving years.

Yeah, looks like I'll have to keep my 1999 Blazer. It has a black box but it is a data recorder where you have to plug it into a computer, not a radio transmitting device. Look like I have to keep that vehicle although I'd like to restore my 1977 Mercury Cougar and/or buy a 1985 Oldsmobile Ciera a friend is selling. I also have Mom's 2004 Hyundai Sonata as well.
Well, if you're an electronic hacker type, I'm a typical amateur radio nerd, you could always look for the 2015 black box and cut the wires to it and/or find a way to disable it.
