No it isnt...its about misrepresentation of an opponents position
OK, since 'straw man argument' and 'false premises' are too sophisticated for you we'll agree to stipulate that you misrepresented my postings by suggesting, by inference, that I have in any post "condemned" the man.

Keep in mind that the weapon was a fake. Nobody was injured. You, sir, are an ass.
One of the unwritten laws of safety, regarding firearms, is that there are no fakes.... Similar to the adage that all guns are loaded.
Second, the fact nobody was injured is irrelevant. If I fired a shotgun into a crowd, yet miraculously injured no one, it would not be a defense.

“Apparently ‘semantics’ is another concept you can’t grasp”
Sorry...wrong again
Being that semantics is the study of meaning, words are important. If I meant ‘feel’ and what it implied I would have said it. Since I didn’t it is clear that it is you that cannot grasp the concept. :D
Furthermore, the context of the sentence was a challenge to the reader to think about the brevity of the crime vs. what the punishment is, and an appeal for rationality
not an emotional persuasion. I guess that was lost on you too.

I have a gut feeling about you. I am suspicious that you might be a modified concern-troll.

It’s not too sophisticated, you just used the term incorrectly as an argument (as you have with other terms), then engaged in logical fallacies to back up faulty logic. You have no basis to request concessions from a position of weakness.

So, if I rob a liquor store and kill the clerk in under 30 seconds I should get a lighter sentence than the robber who takes five minutes? What a maroon!

You can suck as a teacher in NJ & still keep your job. You seem to fit a retread persona. And you sure have issues with TE. Take the day off just to annoy him?
I know there is school today, I saw the buses. Shouldn’t you be teaching? I am a tea party member too & what does that have to do with this thread?

LMAO! You are quite the tool. I am in doubt of anything you’ve posted about your life. NJ has enough problems move to NY. Now I am sure you are a retread!!!

And this is supposed to do what exactly? Shame me into submission? Be a red herring? You are too predictable and your methods are getting old fast. LOL

Furthermore, the context of the sentence was a challenge to the reader to think about the brevity of the crime vs. what the punishment is...You claim to be a teacher, yet you cannot properly employ the word 'brevity'? Brevity ONLY refers to a short duration of time, or a conciseness in speech.
Unless you actually meant to indicate that a short duration during a criminal act is a mitigating factor?
In either case, it better not be language or law that you are teaching.
