Students at a vocational school who just wanted to learn how to weld were afraid for their lives when their teacher lined them up, pulled a gun from his waistband and started firing blanks at them.

Wow...you really are grasping at straws. LOL
My apologies for adding an extra o on accident It must have strained your brain to find such a minor error...I commend you.
So you post the knee-jerk emotionally based argument that the rule of law doesn't matter it's how you feeeeeel about it. ROTFLOL
Liberal nitwit.
Least of all you because you're semi-literate.
I left a higher paying job to march into enemy territory every day ...
Enemy territory? A high school class? Oh, yeah, you'd be a big help if someone walked into your room firing a gun. ROTFLMAO
Free Republic is not a blog. Not even close. Maybe one of your students can help you understand the internet. If they're very patient and have some skill working with short bus types.
“The statute I just posted does apply to that quite specifically”
Nope...wrong again. :D
That’s funny...I didn’t know this guy counted as “two or more persons”....ROFL
Learn what ‘conspiracy’ means...idiot
Look up straw man argument. It's about setting up false premises.
“So you post the knee-jerk emotionally based argument that the rule of law doesn’t matter it’s how you feeeeeel about it”
Nope...I was trying to put it into the perspective that this is a human being not a piece of meat.
Nice try though taking it out of context.
Oh...and I said ‘think’, not “feel” so you are wrong here too. LOL
Also its its after matter and before how.
Compromised? I don't think that word means what you think it means.
This is a forum. (not a blog) We discuss what is known to us not what might be. Or do you think there should be no discussion at all until the whole case is tried and finished?
After I read the article and ran what I knew over in my mind I was outraged not at the teacher but the failure of the justice system and media.
Oh, but you can make that judgment without "knowing what really transpired?" Typical arrogant double standard of the statist wannabe.
“Look up straw man argument. It’s about setting up false premises”
No it isn’t...it’s about misrepresentation of an opponent’s position Which in this case makes no sense based on the statement you paired it with since it is my own position. “I have a hundred questions in need of answers, before I would condemn this man”
What the hell is wrong with you? LOL
Actually you defended it as some kind of lesson about life.
The kids in question here didnt know that it was fake and harmless so it scared the crap out of them and gave them a new perspective on life...which is likely the reaction the teacher was looking for in the first place. Isnt that the whole reason for such programs as Scared Straight? ... I can certainly empathize with why he did what he did.
Using psyops to frighten people into behaving the way you want them to is a time-honored statist method of mind control. What kind of sick control freak would think that's acceptable?
“Compromised? I don’t think that word means what you think it means”
Sorry wrong again
It was implied to be ‘Emotionally’ compromised. Only an idiot would interpret some other meaning for the word in the context it was used. I just assumed intelligence on the part of the reader...I guess I was wrong. LOL
Talk about a complete non-sequitur to the story. (more homework for you)
“Actually you defended it as some kind of lesson about life.”
Sorry wrong again.... The term I used to describe it was “Empathize”
Look it up moron. Its not a defense argument. :D
Apologize to your students for pretending to be something you're not.
“Talk about a complete non-sequitur to the story. (more homework for you)”
Sorry...wrong again
It would only be a non-sequitur if I was actually referring to the story with what I said...which I wasn’t. I was talking about mob mentality...unrelated to the story but related to those posting on it like you. LOL
“Apologize to your students for pretending to be something you’re not”
Argumentum ad hominem ad nauseam. When are you going to actually post something that isnt drivel? :D
Right, an emotional-based feel good knee jerk liberal argument against objective application of the law. Do you think that the law is mostly applied to non-humans?
Apparently 'semantics' is another concept you can't grasp.
