Condo Rice? Is this satire?

The Republican Party is a liberal party, nominating a liberal for President and considering a very liberal (Rice) for VP.

Enough is enough.

The poll asked Republicans and independents who lean towards the GOP to choose from eight names

And this is how we get manipulated, we only get to pick from their list. We should ignore these useless exercises.

>> According to the survey, Condoleezza Rice is on top of the list. Twenty-six percent questioned said they would like to see Rice, who served as national security adviser and later as secretary of state under President George W. Bush, as the Republican vice presidential nominee. <<

It just boggles my mind that so many self-described "conservatives" STILL are in love with the idea of Condi on the ticket four years later.

Dick Morris & Van Jones love of the idea of Rice being on the GOP ticket, that alone should convince Republicans of anyone BUT Rice.

I'd blame it on GOP voters being uneducated, except when I've talked with Condi fans, they're been told about her positions on the issues and these "conservatives" don't care. She all but admitted she voted for Obama and it doesn't even faze them! She's pro-abortion? No problem. Pro-amnesty for illegals? That's cool. She sucked up the Palestinians and kept trying to accomplish "statehood" for them when they run by Hamas? Okay-dokey. One self-described "conservative" I talked to even said he AGREED with her on the latter two issues.

It's like the morons who continue to love Donald Trump & Peter King no matter WHAT they do (I bet if The Donald announced a Trump 2012 campaign kickoff tomorrow, oddles of useful idiot "conservatives" would begin posting how he's the "true conservative" candidate and sooooo much better than Romney)

Romney's bad enough as it is, putting Condi on the ticket would actually move the GOP ticket to the LEFT. Any "conservative" who fantasizes about a Romney/Rice ticket, you really need to find a new label for yourself because that's anything but "conservative"

Where did Condi come from? I like her, but as Mark Davis said (subbing for Rush) we don’t know much about her positions on anything.

I still think Rubio would be a good choice.

Paul Ryan would be great but we probably need him where he is.

In a real election Jim DeMint would appear to be a natural choice: Southern, popular with conservatives, early backer of Romney.

But the only thing that seems to matter is whether the Powers That Be feel their profitability in the next four difficult economic years will be greater if they again placate the black/union/Left Axis of Evil (which were in a leather-chewing fury four years ago over GWB) or whether they now feel that the shaky white/business owners/military alliance is on the verge of going full-on Tea Party and need to be placated with a pseudo-conservative like Romney.

There aren't going to be any substantive economic policy differences no matter who wins, but it will be interesting to see which group's dissatisfaction the Big Money is more worried about.

There is only one choice: Marco Rubio. I love Rick, but he won’t add votes in the way that Marco will. Plus, I want Rick as the guy on the outside, keeping Milt’s feet to the fire. Bob

Huh, so Republicans want a Jew-hating, HAMAS lover... or a Bible-thumping, nanny-state, big-government lover?

How far we’ve fallen...

Neither Rice or Santorum would add votes as VP

A VP from a key state and a key voting group could add lots of votes

Rice has no resume in electorial politics, cannot help in CA, or add to a black vote increase for Romney

Santorum has already bombed out very badly in his own state of PA, turns off women voters, and seems to feel entitled -

The 99% leftist media is feeding the public the same old bs as usual

I was pleasantly surprised at some the intelligent comments on this thread

Condi, Powell, and Obama have burned West for any top level positions - and he knows it

I would like to see West get into the Senate ASAP - He could do a lot of good there

Key states

Key groups that can be important

CNN and the rest of the 99% radical left media are feeding the public Bat Quano (a great western movie star) once more
