Bring Duncan Hunter back.
HEAR! HEAR!
Former Congressman Duncan Hunter was one of THE most qualified and experienced patriots and as I like to refer to him, "the best President since Ronald Reagan that America was too to elect!"
Duncan Hunter was one of the original members of the Reagan Revolution, arriving in Washington WITH Reagan in the landslide of 1980, and his years spent on the House Armed Services Committee (in addition to years spent as Chairman), gave him a unique perspective and wisdom into national security issues.
Prior to political office, Hunter's service as a U.S. Army Ranger, with combat experience in Vietnam proved that he had the 'right stuff', and speaking of that, it was no less than General Chuck Yeager who endorsed Hunter first in 2008, and served with the Hunter campaign.
Everyone kept saying "where is the next Ronald Reagan?" and they were too blind to see that Duncan Hunter was right in front of their faces.
After Duncan Hunter coined the phrase 'The Kennedy Wing of the Republican Party', the powers that be in the GOP-e decreed that Hunter had to go, and it was Faux News who first began giving him short shrift and minimizing their coverage of Hunter, and his campaign died on the vine. I dropped Faux News at that point and I will never watch those Murdoch puppets ever again, and I hope to live to see the day that Murdoch is frog marched out of his office, and into a jail cell.
As for Congressman Hunter, he retired from office, and fortunately his constituents were intelligent enough to recognize that his son, Duncan D. Hunter was indeed a 'chip off the old block' and elected that fine Marine veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan to fill his Dad's seat in the House.
For those who rejected Duncan Hunter, for those who smeared and sneered at him, I have only the utmost contempt for and if I saw such cretins running down the proverbial street on fire, I wouldn't p*ss on 'em to put them out.
