When I found out my taxes went up yet again, I called the White House, and told the operator that there must be some mistake - I’ve not yet gotten my check to raise my income to $250,000. Polite people at least, she noted the message, which of course means ‘click box for message - taxes, immigration, etc’ But it felt a little bit good to vent towards one of the drones which 25% of my paycheck goes to.
