One chunk of the Republican electorate has proved an incredibly fickle voting bloc, denying party unity while the nominating process dragged on. Its the same group of conservative voters that went from candidate to candidate, looking for an alternative to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
Now, out of options, it seems that those who identify themselves as tea party supporters are finally coming home to the presumptive nominee.

Romney seems to be a lukewarm liberal, willing to speak and vote against his weekly held liberal opinions in order to get fame and power. I don’t think he cares enough about his liberal tendencies to implement them in the face of opposition.
A flip-flopping lukewarm liberal trying to masquerade as a conservative is much better than a true believing socialist willing to implement unpopular policies.
Sniff sniff sniff... smells like bovine excrement to me.

I don’t play the Powerball, although I once did on a regular basis. At this point, I pay my bills and my financial debts the best I can, by the sweat of my brow.
And just as I can write a check, I can write in the name Newt Gingrich on a ballot. Payback to the RINO elitists.
I feel liberated just thinking about it.

Your use of uppercase, and thusly shouting, is not called for in this reply. With a candidate as far-left as Mitt Romney, good people can have valid differences with your opinion.
You’re a little bit further down the road than me, FReind. I respect where you’re coming from, though.
Of course!!!!
A good rule to remember.
I didn't inject "race" into this discussion shill. You did. I agree that the vast majority of the people here on FR oppose obomba for the exact same reasons we oppose romney. By you not presenting any evidence that there are any differences between the two the only thing left for a thinking individual to do for themselves is to examine the obvious. Obviously their politics are exactly the same so aside from the fact that the rino romney has a R after his name while obomba has a D, the only differences I can see are 1- their ages and 2- their race. I noticed you didn't mention the point I made about their ages. Why is that? First you infer that I am a racist. Why stop there? Why are you not calling me an ageist as well? Is age discrimination not on your politically correct chart of reasons to object to valid points?
Point is you cannot show us any differences between obomba and romney except their ages, race and oh yeah... their religion although... both are members of huge cults.
Bottom line. Romney cannot beat obomba in a general election. You thought McSkidmark lost bad?! Wait and see what happens to romney if he is our nominee. Tea partiers are NOT warming up to obomney by any stretch of the imagination.
You’ve been here three months, and you’re already snitching...pu**y.
I will not put the reputation of the Republican Party over the health of the USA. If the choices are dog crap and spam, I still want to be involved in the decision.
Anyway, voting for a third party is only half a vote for Obama. Basic math.
Hey, I don’t like this sandwich any more than the next guy. And I, too, note the suspicious odors coming from between the slices of bread.
But the game has been played and we lost. Now it is time to deal with the short term consequences.
Long term... We gotta figure out a way to stop losing this game, or find a game we can win.
Not this TEA party supporter
No Romney
Learn to read einstein. Go back. Read my posts and learn. I never mentioned a "3rd party" and for the record, a vote for either obomba or romney is "THE SAME THING AS PULLING THE LEVER FOR OBOMNEY."
Learn this reality and stop shilling for a loser.
JMHO
Ooooookay....
“sadly we seem to be in the minority here.”
Thank God you are in the minority here and thank God that this is a place where folks still believe principle means something. Romney is a liberal, principled conservatives do not vote for liberals.
well you could be right there. Romney is a chameleon that is for sure.
But you know, even George Soros will be like the Bible says, burned like grass, before we know it. You will go looking for the evil ones but they will be gone.
