Really? ANd which sources are those.... current secret service agents???

I have carried a security clearance for most of my career. I am not part of the secret service. The rules are VERY CLEAR when I travel (particularly over seas) I MUST report every contact that I have. I am debriefed thoroughly when I return.

These yahoos are either the dumbest drunks around or something else is going on that is very very scary

I'm hoping it's just burned-out drunks after too many deployments. Just hoping, mind you, but that's not what I think is more likely -- another corrupt agency.

Look at the crap the GSA has done. At one time, they were the penny pinchers who drove every bid to the minimum.

A friend of mine had a high security clearance - ex Air Force working in a defense industry.

One evening in about 1988 we were chatting with some friends and one mentioned that she had just returned from a visit to East Germany and talked at length about her experience.

My friend bemoaned the fact that he would have to go home and make a report of this conversation.
