To: Upstate NY Guy

Back in the day, kids in my public elementary school were picked up by the hair if they got too crazy. That was stopped, but it was a lot more effective with fewer long term consequences than handcuffs and a holding cell. (Even as late as eigth grade, noogies were given out at the private school I was attending.)

LOL... Yeah... My ears were yanked so often I now look like a friggin elephant and while the principle never used the board of education on me he did tend to use it a lot on s few of my buddies. Of course... That was before the "minorities" and feminazis managed to make disciplining a child a crime.

For the record... I've never been thrown in jail. It's too bad parents and school administrators cannot administer discipline anymore.

We need to do away with the department of education, cps and all the other do gooder ya-hoos out there that think they know what's best for children.
