exercising powers the people havent personally assented to. Duh. Society has rules for a reason, you break them there is a penalty. For example, if it's a 35 mile hr zone, do you personally assent to them or go 70? I wouldn't want to live near you if you have a problem obeying authority - and you'd want to 'exercise your own authority' - when it wasn't granted to you.

I go the speed I choose. It's probably good you don't live near me, I'm sure we'd butt heads over things like this.

You break the law every day and you don't know it. Look up all of society's rules if you have time. You county. State. City if you live in one. Federal regulations.
Society has rules because there are too many busybodies, politicians, and others who make these rules, need crimes to fight, and tickets to write.
