...........The other week we profiled how this game was being played with business executive Mark Stevens. Stevens' business -- and Stevens himself -- was abruptly inundated with threatening calls and e-mails demanding he remove his company's advertising from Rush's show as broadcast in the New York area -- or else. An incensed and decidedly heroic Stevens not only doubled down on his advertising as a result, he went on Fox News to directly take on the thugs -- saying in part that what was happening to him was part of a "Battle for America."
Stevens is right -- this is a Battle for America.
And nothing could illustrate this more clearly than the fact that even as the failed attack on Rush fades, a new assault on another target begins.
The newest assault on free speech is being unleashed on ALEC -- the American Legislative Exchange Council -- an attack funded by Hyatt money as funneled through MoveOn.org.
Why? Well, you see, ALEC supported the "Stand Your Ground" law in Florida. The law that has now surfaced in the Trayvon Martin case. (Then-Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who signed Stand Your Ground into law, has said flatly the law doesn't apply in this instance.) So, naturally, the left is using this as a pretext to defund ALEC -- going after sponsors like Coke, Kraft, McDonald's and others.
In other words, cut off the funding -- and hence the free speech -- of a conservative organization that has effectively presented conservative principles on various issues to state legislatures around the country. No less than ex-Obama aide Van Jones is helping to lead the charge on this, as seen here in this appearance on MSNBC....

IMO Move-On should be considered a terrorist organisation.
Joel Hyatt is the son-in-law of the late Senator Howard Metzenbaum, of Ohio. He ran as a DEM for senator from Ohio and lost miserably. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Joel’s family owns the Hyatt Hotel chain. Both he an Metzenbaum are disgusting socialist traitors. Metz. was as crooked as a dog’s hind leg.
The Media Matters donor list included the Pritzker Family Foundation, which donated a total of $400,000 to the progressive attack group in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Billionaire business mogul Penny Pritzker is a member of one of Americas richest families and was the Finance Chair for the presidential campaign of Barack Obama. It was Pritzker that led the prolific, and illegal, fundraising that helped power Barack Obamas presidential campaign. She was the chair of Chicago-based Superior Banks board for five years. Pritzker was into subprime lending before it became all the rage starting in around 2000. Prtizker's chairmanship was to concentrate on sub prime lending, principally on home mortgages, but for a while in subprime auto lending, too, after the Pritzkers' bank acquired its wholesale mortgage organization division, Alliance Funding, in December 1992. Superior Bank went belly up in 2001 with over $1 billion in insured and uninsured deposits; 1,406 depositors lost much of their life savings. This collapse came amid harsh criticism of how Superiors owners promoted sub-prime home mortgages. |

The Pritzkers are a buch of “progressives” — in other words they are Communists, but they are also capitalists earning money to support Communists. What do you call that? It’s disgusting. I guess they think they are Soros wannabes.
Thanks for the info. Pritzker family is best known for owning the Hyatt hotel chain and is considered to be one of Americas wealthiest families
. Anyway, Democraps and liberals would take away our freedom of speech in a split second, if they could get away with it—freedom of speech “benefits the rich”.
