"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |
Problem with truth? What do you mean? Whatever truth you are looking for he’s got in stock.
In the left's corner, wearing red and black, the ineligible muslim with unverifiable past, hell bent for destruction with his socialist transformation of Amerika...Baraka! Hussein!! OBAAMAAAAA!!!
And in the left's corner....the GOPe darling of the 1%...the ever changeable mormon rino with etch-a-sketch values, principles, morals.....Gaffmaster Mitt! Roooommmmnneeyyy!!
the same Mitt Romney that Ric Santorum endorsed last time, I presume???
Not sure it matters but then again he didn’t fling himself at the feet of Dede Scozafava either.
This was a skill I learned on my high school Debate team. You would never know if you were going to be assignedthe affirmative or dissenting position in a debate; if you were dissent, you would have to argue against whatever the affirmative team presented, and do so as if it was all you ever believed.
This is also an excellent skill to have, as it is much easier to understand other points of view if you can make the best arguments for those points of view. It strengthens your position if you can correctly voice, and then solidly refute, the opposition arguments.
I’m sure that’s not what you mean to be denouncing here, but I hate to see an outstanding debate skill be lightly dismissed as something evil.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all."" -- President Ronald Reagan
That is a clever and interesting response. :-)
