Britain's Labour Party on Sunday suspended peer Nazir Ahmed over reports that he offered a £10 million ($15.9 million, 12.1 million euros) bounty for the capture of US President Barack Obama.
The Lord also offered a similar incentive for the capture of former US president George Bush in response to a US reward for the capture of suspected terrorist Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, according to Pakistan's Express Tribune newspaper.
Saeed, who founded the extremist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, is wanted for the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks in which 166 people were killed.
"We have suspended Lord Ahmed pending investigation," a Labour spokeswoman said.
"If these comments are accurate we utterly condemn these remarks which are totally unacceptable.
"The international community is rightly doing all in its power to seek justice for the victims of the Mumbai bombings and halt terrorism."
Ahmed apparently made the offer during a speech in Haripur, Pakistan, on Friday.

When Parliament suspends its Muslims by their neck until they are dead, I will know they are serious about dealing with Islam/Muslims.
Holder did nothing about the Black Panthers putting a bounty on Zimmerman....I have to see the irony here : )

What I find more distyrbing is the lack of outrage from our rlected legislators. Why havern’t they called out Holder over the bounties and the thr4eats of race war by the NBP and Farrakhan.
This comes close to state sponsored terrorism. Shame on Britain for honoring such a terrorist sympathizer with a seat in the House of Soiled Lords. Personally, I wouldn't lower myself to remain in the same room with this murderous filth.

With all due respect, Peter King was for many years an avowed IRA supporter. Now he holds a major national security position. Shame on America.
I doubt Lord Nobhead will be arrested. Probably expelled from the party and have his title taken away. I do agree with you btw. I’d at least haul him into Scotland Yard.
No, he doesn't. He is an elected US Congressman from New York state, a position he has held for 20 years. To my knowledge, he has never held a national security position.
As with Britain, America has electoral districts that will elect the Devil himself, & there is nothing a sane minority can do to prevent it. It is a common weakness of democracy.
And I do agree with many of Congressman King's conservative political positions; a rarity coming out of the uber liberal NY state.
It pains me greatly to see a sister country succumb to islam, surely the spawn of Satan. My ancestors are from Britain, & I hold dear our close cultural relationship & kinship.
The pain is all the greater because I see the USA headed in the same failed direction of accepting evil & anarchy as acceptable behavior.
King is the Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee and also sits on House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
And the man is an unapologetic terrorist supporter.
BTW, Britain is not Muslim nor will it become so, despite the hysterical hype I read here all the time. 97% of the UK is non-Muslim. 92-93% is white.
