That’s not totally true. If you’re a vet, you fill out the CCW form and enclose your DD-214. No class needed.
I know that’s valid in Florida but not sure about other locales. I took the class in FL anyway because my wife didn’t want to go by herself. But I didn’t have to. The day came and guess who had bronchitis and couldn’t go? My wife. I went anyway and she ended up going at a later date by herself. Even though she wasn’t alone. LOL! And, she is an excellent shot by the way. Scary good!
