A British businessman found dead in a Chinese hotel was murdered on the orders of a fallen Communist Party chief, according to new reports. The extraordinary accounts published on respected Mandarin-language websites yesterday claimed to expose a sex-and-money scandal behind China's biggest political crisis in a generation. The websites described how Old Harrovian Neil Heywood, 41, died from cyanide poisoning after allegedly having an affair with lawyer Gu Kailai, wife of Bo Xilai, seen until recently as a future leader of China.
British diplomats in China were under pressure last night to explain why they did not ask questions sooner about the mysterious circumstances of Mr Heywood's death. P!
Am guessing a number of folks will escape a 'naming' - if by do diligence, their acts are cleaned up and disposed of 'properly'. Meantime; enough here; for another real-life challenge to fiction.

It has only begun. It will get very thick. The story of cyanide poisoning and stolen money will give way to the power struggle of life-and-death at the top, riots, and coups. Back to the tumultuous days in late 60's and 70's. When Mao Zedong, Lin Biao, Liu Shaoqi, and Deng Xiaoping were at each other's throats.
Confucius say man who siphon soon get sucked in and snuffed out.
