Live from New York, its ... Mitt Romney?
Saturday Night Live executive producer Lorne Michaels offered a guest spot to the Republican presidential candidate and he is "considering it," New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd reported.
A stop at the show could be a good way for the former Massachusetts governor to boost his likeability ratings, which have been dismal throughout his run in the Republican primaries.
He has already appeared on late-night shows, including The Late Show with Jay Leno and Tonight Show with David Letterman.
"He was funny on Letterman, giving the Top Ten list," SNL cast member Jim Downey told the columnist.

Mitt Romney is funniest when he’s pretending to be a conservative.

SNL hasn’t been funny since the 70’s
Likeability ratings. Socialist reptiles are not likable, no matter how much lipstick.
What is there to gain by going on there with those idiots ?
although I admire I would laugh if they show a skit with Romney selling used cars !
Agreed. SNL is 100% hard left liberal and not favorable to Romney. They will try to make him look as unlikeable as possible.
Oh, yea. Mitt will come across as so cool...
I remember when snl was “not ready for prime time”. Now it’s so mainstream, it’s how they tell you who you can vote for.
A mistake. One he doesn’t need me to tell him that will not turn out well.
A big mistake. These people are the enemy. They will destroy him. What are his people thinking?
“Live” would be a stretch for Romney.
John McCain came across as Mitt Romney.

This will be cringeworthy indeed. In other words, a must see, LOL.
Silly rhinos never learn.
Coward Romney did not even defend his wife this week
in a week long Dukakis-moment.
Give him a skit or two where he plays himself. Don’t let him host the whole show. SNL is never funny when they let politicians or athletes host.
