Thanks cripplecreek. I wouldn’t know one way or the other, since I ignore local media — it’s either trivial, or shilling for the Demwits.

I wouldn’t live on the west side in the first place (for example, a few years back a “canner” i.e. a guy who lives on the st and just gets some cash by collecting cans) got jumped and killed for the can equivalent of about ten bucks) but if I had to live there for some reason, I’d be carrying, period. And the news story would have been, “three shots were heard, three dead thugs were found, no witnesses came forward, no leads”.
