Wrapping the flag around big-government excess isnt going to work
Vice President Joe Biden says paying higher taxes is patriotic. He must have forgotten that America was founded on a tax revolt.
While pitching the Obama administrations plan on Thursday to boost the burden on upper-income groups, Mr. Biden said, Wealthy people are just as patriotic as middle-class people, as poor people, and they know they should be doing more. This skewed take on patriotism was quickly retweeted by the White House. The message fits with the shameful class-warfare appeals that claim tax hikes are needed to keep firefighters on the job or pay for Pell grants. More accurately, theyre needed to underwrite $200,000 in stimulus money to move a shrub or to bankroll yet another failed green energy project.

Rewriting US History:
The American Revolution was instigated when early colonials discovered the King George of England wasn’t going to tax the successes enjoyed in the newly developed lands occupied by European immigrates. The fury arose when colonials set ablaze several British Merchant ships that were carrying supplies for colonial members for braving the unknown and risking their lives to set up a fledgling capitalistic economy void of any government oversight. The early colonials wanted to pay taxes and were inspired by the Native Americans freely giving up their land for expansion of not only promising farmland, but the also the hope for a large government to be established that would one day rule us all where free thinking would be more of a burden than a luxury. ...and so forth...
I’ll stop now - I wonder if any of this is in current history books in the US???
Pretty sad...the US educational system slowly taken over by a virus of socialists...
