The places that I hung out in never had an old way. When I was a kid Vermont was bucks only, so when I walked into a friends house I saw seven Does and a buck hanging, so I asked my pal WTF, “Got to get the first one leagal”.
The people were and are very poor and salt of the Earth, good friends and terrible enemies.
