I have come out of my self-enforced retirement to point out what I believe to be facts.
Fact 1. The next President will be either the Democrat(sic) nominee or the Republican nominee.
Fact 2. Obama with be the Dem nominee, barring an act of God such as a heart attack, etc.
Fact 3. Anyone who does not vote at all, or who votes for a third-party nominee will be helping Obama get re-elected. (I still remember Perot.)
Fact 4. I do not support and have never supported Romney. I’ve supported almost everyone else (Palin, Bachman, Cain, Santorum, Gingrich) until they, one by one, dropped out.
I still have hope (’tho fading fast) that the convention will not be able to nominate Romney on the first vote, and that delegates will then be able to negotiate for someone else.
Fact 5. Anyone who encourages others not to cast any vote for President will be helping to re-elect Obama.
Rush Limbaugh has said that Obama could be defeated easily by any of the Republicans [who *were*] running. This is one of the rare times I disagree with Rush. I think Romney will have trouble defeating Obama, even if conservatives support Romney.
However, if Romney gets lucky and is elected President, it’s my hope that, if we can elect enough true conservatives down-ballot, a Republican-controlled House and Senate will be able to largely neutralize Romney and keep him from doing too much damage.
Therefore, I urge Freepers, from oldest to newest, to *Stop* advocating that we not vote for the Republican nominee, whoever he or she turns out to be.
I believe the 2012 election will have blatant voter fraud on a scale never before seen in America.
Anyone who does not vote for the Republican candidate will be helping the Progressives to stage a bloodless coup from which American will not recover in our lifetimes.
Please, everyone, ...no matter who you are...please STOP telling people not to vote for the Republican nominee.
We do not yet have a nominee. There is still hope.
If you think Romney can win, then why are you here arguing against JimRob’s stance?
Many of us are conservatives who will not vote for Romney, but you shouldn’t worry about it since you think he’s going to win anyway.
What nonsense. I will actively campaign for conservatives of principle to not support Romney, and I will not be helping Obama in an y way by doing so. Take your scare tactics and shove them.
Damn. You came out of retirement for that?
We are telling people exactly why WE won't vote for ROMNEY! Everyone is free to do as they please, as many are repeatedly stating.
I'm one who won't be facing God with the blood of unborn babies on my hands because of voting for either pro-abortion Obama or pro-abortion Romney.
You can make the choice for yourself. Just don't come here and try to tell us we are wrong by pimping for Romney in defiance of the owner of FReeRepublic.
That is *not* a fact... a likelihood, I will admit... but not a fact. JUST the Christian Right has the capability of lofting a candidate from the cheap seats right into the running... And the Christian vote is wide open and able to be utilized at this point - there is no Pro-Life candidate.
Fact 2. Obama with be the Dem nominee, barring an act of God such as a heart attack, etc.
YUP.
Fact 3. Anyone who does not vote at all, or who votes for a third-party nominee will be helping Obama get re-elected. (I still remember Perot.)
FALSE. It seems your understanding of mathematics is left wanting.
Fact 4. I do not support and have never supported Romney. Ive supported almost everyone else (Palin, Bachman, Cain, Santorum, Gingrich) until they, one by one, dropped out. I still have hope (tho fading fast) that the convention will not be able to nominate Romney on the first vote, and that delegates will then be able to negotiate for someone else.
And you think 3rd party is a long shot....
Fact 5. Anyone who encourages others not to cast any vote for President will be helping to re-elect Obama.
And with that attitude, you DOOM us to liberalism (communism).
If no one will STAND UPON THE SOLID GROUND we purport to believe in, how will we EVER break the chain? Stand up on your feet and vote *FOR* something.
Sorry, I ain’t voting for Romney.
Can not be repeated enough.
“Please, everyone, ...no matter who you are...please STOP telling people not to vote for the Republican nominee.”
WRONG.
Romney won’t be the Repub nominee.
He’’l be the lib-Dem nominee.
000bama will be the commie nominee.
Unless a 3rd party option opens up, I might not vote for the presidential spot, just for the lower offices.
Go back into retirement.
Romney is NOT the nominee yet. Perhaps you should read this before advising others what to do.
