Historically, a president's second term tends to be less ideologically pure than the first one. So, if anything, history says Obama will be pushed further to the right in his second term. I wouldn't bet on it, but we could see more episodes like him signing the extension of the Bush tax cuts with a Republican Congress to gridlock him.

I think I’d vote for the devil himself if I thought he could beat Obama.

And you don't see a problem with that mindset? Politics shouldn't be about hating people personally. It needs to be about ideology and policy goals. This "get rid of Obama at all costs" mentality is dangerous if it hurts our cause in the long run. And letting the GOP know they can ignore conservatives in a primary and win strictly through million-dollar mudslinging against good conservatives is extremely dangerous. What's worse, having one party fighting against your causes or both of them?

“Historically, a president’s second term tends to be less ideologically pure than the first one.”

Complete BS. As he told Medvedev “I’ll have more flexibility after the election”. In other words I can do whatever I want.

Where do you get this crap?

I was being facetious Einstein. I don’t hate the man personally but I do despise his Progressive, Communist, race baiting, arrogant, America bashing policies. The lack a mentality of beating Obama at all costs will truly hurt America, possibly irreparably.
