On that note imagine this scenario of post-apocoliptic destruction.

Romney by same miracle of fate wins the presidency. He decides to ‘reform’ Obamacare. You know just tone it down a notch. It passes and becomes a Republican Triumph and we can never be rid of it and the first chance the democrats get it will be back up to full power. That my fellow Americans could be a far worse outcome than Obama; at least know he is the enemy.

That's a really good point. And the same could be said about other laws. It's a valid reason why a conservative should not vote for neither Romney or Obama.

But...

Who would you rather have appointing federal judges, Romney or Obama?

Who would you rather have appointing the next Attorney General, Romney or Obama?

Who would you rather negotiate with Putin, Romney or Obama?

Who would you rather negotiate with the "Arab spring" leaders, Romney or Obama?

Now, my three questions do NOT necessarily override your excellent point. It's just something more to think about.
