Breitbart at CPAC2012 February 10, 2012 I don't care who our candidate is You want a unity speech? I'll give you a unity speech. I don't care who our candidate is. I haven't since the beginning of this... ask not what the candidate can do for you, ask what you can do for the candidate! And that's what the Tea Party is. We are there to confront the radical left on behalf of our candidate! I will march behind who ever our candidate is. Because if we don't, we lose. There are two paths! There are two paths! One is America, the other is Occupy! One is America, the other is Occupy! And I don't care, and along the way... I've realized over the last three years that the Republican Party and the conservative movement is not what ABC, CBS and NBC put on the screen. They try to portray you in the worst possible light... and when I travel around the United States meeting people in the Tea Party who care -- black, white, gay, straight -- anyone that's willing to stand next to me to fight the progressive left, I will be in that bunker, and if you're not in that bunker 'cause you're not satisfied with this candidate, more than shame on you. You're on the other side. |
Romney IS Progressive Left. I’m not voting for him. Period.
“I don’t care who our candidate is. You want a unity speech? I’ll give you a unity speech. I don’t care who our candidate is.”
Wow, Breitbart was a RINO? /s
The problem is that Romney is not "our" candidate and no matter what he says now, his record unequivically demonstrates that he is the "progressive left."
Breitbart was a good man. A great one even. I don’t agree with him on this.
Damn straight I’m on the other side. The side that’s against abortion and gay marriage. Obama and Romney are on the same team.
My goodness. All I did was say I was glad that FU meant Freep You and not the other word.
There’s a lot to be said for that. And I did it with Dole, and McCain but I can’t do it with Romney as I believe he is part of the progressive left.
Satisfied? I'll never be satisfied with evil/mitt. I'm satisfied with Newt, so I'm in a different bunker.
Breitbart is past all that. Peace be with his family.
I don't care either, but Romney could never be my candidate.
John 10:13
The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
I don’t use his image nor do I agree withh him on everything.
Breitbart, like Coulter (another Romney supporter), supported homosexuals.
You can add that to your post.
I don’t know why I got this with Briehart, because I didnot post it, but anyway, Well have fun here, because I am leaving and maybe the country, so you have have fun with OBUTTHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been offered at another site with no thought police! Bye
“...I don’t care who our candidate is...”
In context “our” means “republican”. Obviously Breitbart was a republican; I am not a republican. “My” candidate is from the constututional party.
Re:Andrew Breitbart.
The candidate has not been chosen yet.
There is still a choice.
I choose Newt, because the other person running, the so-called “front-runner” doesn’t have a Republican or conservative bone in his body.
It is my FU to the GOP-E.
Somehow, I think Andrew would approve.
Hit abuse if you disagree with the post for donations.
I don’t agree 100 % with Breitbart either but, he has done more to expose the Left than most.
RIP Andrew.
“anyone that’s willing to stand next to me to fight the progressive left”
Yep, I totally agree with him, expect for one thing, Romney isn’t standing next to me to fight the left: ROMNEY IS THE LEFT!!!
Brietbart was the best. He was not the spokeman for the “Tea Party”, though. Noone is.
Mr. Robinson is being the spokesman for Free Republic. If he doesn’t want Mittens’ campaign pushed here, I don’t blame him.
Mittens is aggressively anti-conservative in action and word. Mr. Robinson is a conservative and his website (his work - his effort) is for the conservative cause. Mittens stands in opposition to all of that.
It’s a real crying shame the GOP-e did not ditch Mittens when they saw the Tea Party rise up against obamacare. Instead, the GOP snuggled up to Obama and rose up against the Tea Party. If Romney loses, don’t blame it on the Tea Party or conservatives. The guys in the pup tent on the golf course did it.
Nice try. As much as I admired Andrew Breitbart, he was shortsighted about getting behind the nominee - no matter who it is.
Mitt Romney’s record in office meshes with the Democrat party platform like the gears of a finely made Swiss watch. Now, some people can be swayed by promises, flip-flops, illogic, and outright lies, but I can’t. I see that Romney is Obama’s reflection, as clear as day.
Painful to read,bur profound.
He is missed.
Do I want to give Obama the chance to really destroy our economic strength and status, to shame us throughout the world, to continue to chip away at our moral and Christian values, to insert Sharia law and support Muslim advances to take over our country, and to change our Constitution and rights...A BIG NO!
I really don't care for Romney, I know his faults and am not stupid. But, even if his conservative record is not strong, even with the falsehoods and his liberal leaning past policies, and even though he is another "insider" I doubt that he will let the unions, the Occupiers, the Muslims, and the Sharpton-types run wild and continue on their anti-American/anti-Capitalism/anti-Christian/race and class warfare paths.
I guess I have to decide if I want to get part of the pie, or give it all up to those who want to destroy what remains whole and beautiful about our country. If there is a reasonable chance that Newt can save us from both Obama and Romney I will thank God. But without that chance, I have to go with the man who is, at least, an American ... a man who believes in and worships God, says the Pledge of Allegiance with respect and honor, has a wife who is proud of this country, and whose goals for this country, though not as conservative as my own, are not for us to be a nation second to any other country.
