First, you have a bunch of questions posted to you unanswered, second, MR already abandoned the RPP with his GOV record. Place his actions side by side with the RPP and do the math.

Third, Did you read JR’s first post? Then why do you keep supporting Romney here? Do you respect JR’s edict or not? Yes or no.

First, you have a bunch of questions posted to you unanswered,

They're not legitimate questions. I'm engaging you because you asked a fairly direct one, not a straw man argument or simply a personal invective. My time is valuable to me; I don't have time, resources or the desire to answer every erratic post.

second, MR already abandoned the RPP with his GOV record. Place his actions side by side with the RPP and do the math.

That's a fair point. I consider the risk to be worth it in relation to the possible end of capitalism and the abandonment of Israel among other issues.

Third, Did you read JR’s first post? Then why do you keep supporting Romney here?

I don't support Romney. Do you see me posting a thousand talking points about the great guy Mitt Romney is? I support ABO this time around. I have no choice; this is not about liberal vs. conservative; this is about the survival of the West.

Do you respect JR’s edict or not? Yes or no.

Was it an edict? No one can say they're simply voting for the nominee? And if anyone answers caustic attacks, that makes them guilty of "supporting Romney here" but if they don't answer, then you attack them for not answering a "bunch of questions." Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

To: mmanager "Don’t vote for Romney"

It is disingenuous or a flat out blatant lie, to state that Jim Rob or anyone else here is instructing you how to vote. That is your own decision.

If you have been following Jim's posts, I think he has stated two points as I understand them-

- He stated his own personal decision to not vote for Mitt. I know it rankles some of you, but that is his decision and he is free to do with his vote as he pleases.

- He stated that he does not want anyone using the resources of FreeRepublic to campaign for Mitt. Again he is free to make that decision for his website, as promoting a progressive goes against everything he has stood for all these years. It is also a good business decision, because that would dilute or spoil the brand of FreeRepublic. It is after all a website for conservatism, not conservatism and liberalism on alternate days.

Apparently, the poster above didn't understand the "edict" clearly. You may need to resend the memo. I haven't campaigned or advocated for Romney at all, nor have any of the others that are being attacked by the purists here as far as I can tell. Anything that states otherwise (regarding myself) is a blatant lie.

Also, Jim’s reply to me has been much more sensible and fair than most of those who are invoking his name.

Myself, I have never argued that it’s over or that we should accept defeat. I am heartened that Newt is still in the race and I believe everything may change in May.
