This poster pretty much sums up the RINO strategy:

Dubya got us Obama.

If Dubya got us Obama, can you imagine what we will get after 8 years of Romney?

Here's one I like although from a FF that is not my favorite.

"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

“At least if Obama wins we know our House will unite to stop him from doing liberal things solely for political gain.”

I’d like to think you’re right, but he’s done a huge number of liberal things solely for political gain in past 3+ years...with or without a Republican majority in the House.

I doubt that the founder of FR is quite insane.

I would ask you : Would you rather have Obama as president with a hostile, overwhelmingly conservative House and Senate, or Romney, a progressive RINO, with a compliant, go-along-to-get-along Congress?

I think the former is the lesser of two evils. Either way, we are in for a rough four years until we get another chance to elect a conservative POTUS (Barring some miracle at the convention.)

I’ll hold my nose and vote AGAINST obama

You can go do that but the fact that you have to hold your nose means many thousands of republicans didn't even go that far. They stayed home instead.

Everytime I went to vote and held my nose the candidate I voted for lost. Also the one time I didn't even go that far to vote for the RINO he lost as well and NOT by one vote but in a landslide.

The point is. When you feel like you have to hold your nose to vote for the man. He's going to lose because you are not the only one with those feelings.

If Romney gets the nomination and we know we have to hold our noses to vote for him, it's best to stay home. He's going to lose anyways. Guaranteed!

Romney will not be able to beat Obama (unless something very tragic happens in this nation - I mean very very tragic).

I stayed home once before and the republican candidate lost.

I held my nose and voted for McCain. And he lost.

Best to hope Newt to beat Romney because Romney cannot beat Obama. Romney has not only burnt too many bridges but has also taken every stance on every issue. Because of that and the videos that will expose him as a flip flopping liar he will lose because Mitt Romney is the republican version of John Kerry.

You’re kidding...

They both want gun control.
They both support abortion.
They both support liberal judges.
They both supported TARP.
They both supported the nationalization of GM. oops I mean the "Structured backruptcy" of GM
They both support mandated medical insurance.
They both supported the stimulus.

On other issues I have no frickin' idea as Romney keeps changing his position.

I will not vote for either one as I see no real difference.

I’m no fan of mitt’s ether, but you need to get over it and put your country first.

You need to find your spine and fight back against the Socialists who are trying to fix the outcome of this race to ensure that one of their own is in power for the next four years.

Vote Constitution Party or write in a conservative candidate if you wish, but do not fall for accepting a Socialist in a Republican jersey.

Fight back, dammit!

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.

That, as I have repeatedly demonstrated, is simply not true. And it's clear you understand that, because you have never in your postings EVER provided a link to ANY poll taken within 50 days of the election showing McCain/Palin up by 10 points.

RCP has virtually all the respectable polling data here General Election 2008.

The last poll that has McCain in the lead is the GWU/Battleground poll, taken September 21-25, 39 days before the election, and that was a 2% lead (less than your "4-10", so it doesn't count). F&M had a poll ending 9/21 with a 2% McCain lead as well.

You have to go back to almost 60 days before the election to find any other polls with a McCain lead. Two polls on 9/11 at +4, and a USA Today on 9/7 with a +10 (That was immediately following the GOP convention).

But the +10 was an outlier, the average through that period never got better than 2.9%, and that was all convention bounce; Obama was back in front by a week after the convention, and it had nothing to do with Mitt Romney.

You have to admit it is rather delicious to think about Obama being out Alinsky-ied by Romney!!

Only Newt Gingrich would do that.

Romney only goes after Conservatives Alinsky style. $45 Million worth to get to where he is and he still doesn't have the nomination.

Keep praying and vote for Newt.

Brokered convention is still in possibility's realm and a lot can happen bewtween now and August. We never know when God might step in.

As much as I dislike Romney you would have to be insane not to vote for him if he is the nominee

So says you, and all the rest of the spineless jellyfish who wouldn't recognize basic American principles if they bit them on the ass.

Pimp your back-stabbing Republican Socialist somewhere else.

Thank you. I would add only that the conservative rank-and-file were let down by the failure of any good conservative candidate to step forward. Those who did were, unfortunately, flawed.

I used to be hopeful for the good crop of young conservatives able to challenge for the top of the ticket in 2016, but it seems that most of them are now being rejected as RINOs as well.

A liberal Republican in name only will do far more damage to conservative causes with the R behind the name than a known liberal already seated. Conservative cause should be number one. Being tied up to the destruction of the party by a Republican in name only is a nonsense decision.

“I would just like to remind everyone the goal is NOT repeat NOT to get Obama unelected at all costs. For the costs do matter. I won’t sell my freedom to a Republican or Democrat. The Goal is freedom.”

I agree and that is why we MUST get Obama out of office. The single biggest liberty stealing legislation in the history of this country is Obamacare. If he remains in office, it is 100% certain that he will veto any repeal legislation. At least with the liberal repub, there is a 50% chance that he will sign any repeal legislation.

Pray hard for the USSC to make the right decision to protect our individual liberty. If not, a re-election of Obama will ensure that we can never repeal it and I will be very worried that he can be defeated...

I’ll also continue to pray for a convention miracle!
