Have you read the charging instrument? It’s a complete joke! This is going to be a show trial, my friend. SYG is not involved here. It was unfortunate that a citizen pulled the trigger as opposed to a LEO. LEOs have presumed trust as a public servant, yet they’re still put on leave and desk duty during an investigation into an officer-involved shooting.

This exchange has nothing to do with the validity of the charges against Zimmerman, which I think are weak. It does reflect on the idea that in a post trial verdict that Florida residents are somehow more well armed than their California counterparts post Rodney King. I was asked if California has SYG as if that afforded some great protection to people in Florida. I ask what good does it do in a politically charged atmosphere such as this?
