I know Pat Buchanan. I campaigned for him here in Louisiana in 1996. There’s no doubts he’s got his faults and baggage.

But when he sets pen to paper, he’s as good as it gets.

Pat is one of the five to ten most eloquent conservative writers. I include Peggy Noonan and George Will in that mix as well as Victor Davis Hanson. One reads their stuff for content of course but the words have a rhythm, meter, and tone that is often magic.

A bit more Buchanan and Derbyshire would be a good thing, it flushes out the Repub Pansy Boyz from the fighters.
