...another guy who has stated if he was asked he’d be Romney’s VP.
Still trying that route today, eh?

Let's go to the video.../Madden (7:00)
“No, I wouldn’t say no,” Gingrich told Fox News‘ Neil Cavuto Monday about what he’d do if Romney asked him to run as his vice president. “I can’t imagine him offering,” he added.
And be sure to consider the context.

He would not say no.

Everyone here is saying absolutely no, to voting for Romney, which I have no problem with. If you will never vote for the guy, surely as a conservative you’d not WORK or even consider WORKING FOR a guy you say you’d never VOTE for. It would not be hard to say “I’d never work for him” if you’d never vote for him.

Yet Newt says he would not say no if asked. Doesn’t matter if he thinks he would or wouldn’t be asked.

How can you vote for a guy who is supposedly conservative who says he wouldn’t say no to being VP of the guy you say as a conservative you will never vote for? How can Newt, by your standard, even consider it acceptable to be Romney’s VP if he is really a conservative and should find it impossible to even cast a vote for Romney?
