There are not many people who will refuse to vote for a GOP presidential candidate and then enthusiastically vote for a GOP House or Senate candidate, especially when those candidates endorse the Presidential nominee. Not going to happen.
I understand the opposition to Romney - I voted for Rick Santorum in the Ohio primary. But, I think we are fooling ourselves if we think Romney loses big to Obama but somehow, magically, we win the Senate. Obama crusing to reelection means Obama coattails, and it's at least possible that we lose the House in that scenario, too. If nothing else, it guarantees a liberal majority on the Supreme Court for two decades or more.
Without the down ticket votes, we are screwed either way.
Well, all we’re doing is advocating our point-of-view. We’re advocating voting for conservative Congress candidates and ABR/ABO. If everybody does what we’re advocating, we would win Congress no matter what happens on the presidential side. We can’t control what people do who don’t take our advice.
You left out the qualifier, "in my opinion".
Mitt is unpopular, has not been able to win in the primaries even with the aid of FNC and the RINO elite...IMO, there will be more voters than you think who will vote for downticket conservatives...remember, these are LOCAL elections and the Tea Party is still alive.
