and eeeevery democrat in the future will be “the worst ever” because crisis makes everyone fall in line. That’s just the way the RNC likes it.
Everyone is making this way more complicated than it is. I am asking every person on this thread who intends to vote for Mitt Romney the following, and I ask that you post a simple yes or no response without ‘reasons’.
1: Do you consider yourself a conservative?
2: Are you aware of Mitt Romney’s record?
3: Did you read the opening post by JR on this thread and understand it?
4: Do you still intend to vote for Mitt Romney despite the above?
Again, simple Yes/No answers. Nothing else. If you are willing to vote Romney, then you should be just as willing to HONESTLY answer these questions on an open forum. Let us all see where you stand.
Fear is the foundation of most governments; but it is so sordid and brutal a passion, and renders men in whose breasts it predominates so stupid and miserable, that Americans will not be likely to approve of any political institution which is founded on it.
John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776
We cannot expect a good result from trying to use fear mongering to get us to back Romney. The Repulican party has been runnin on fear and I dare say, stupid and miserable have been the outcome.
