B. We need some rain as well, usually arrives two weeks after you've had it.
Seriously,it does! when you get snow, we get a two week warning and make no preparations whatever.

Wow..two weeks? That's a long time!

We had the strangest weather this winter, with almost no snow. Last winter we had 1-4 feet of snow on the ground from autumn until spring. We couldn't get into the back yard except through the back door. The gates in the fence were frozen, and we couldn't have opened them anyway, because with the snow also frozen and generally 3-4 feet high, they were impossible to move.
